Testing Assistant (Covid Testing support)

Test Assistants Covid Support / Northamptonshire

Following national government and DfE announcements Hays Education are working with a number of schools across Northamptonshire who are looking to take on Test Assistants to ensure a safe and robust rapid testing system is in place for when schools return to full capacity.

Your new role
Working on behalf of Hays Education at a secondary School in Northamptonshire as a Test Assistant your main responsibility will be to provide guidance to subjects on swabbing and ensuring the cleaning of booths and/or sample collection station during operation.

You will be expected to direct subjects to an available testing station within the site and provide them with any verbal instructions required. Once the subject has completed the test, you will then direct them to the exit and then ensure the subject has correctly self-cleaned the test station after his/her test. You will be expected to provide regular testing station cleaning throughout the day in line with local and DfE guidelines

*You will not be expected to administer any tests onto staff/students*

We are looking for candidates with experience particularly in an administration role, but all skill sets and backgrounds will be considered. This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS.
Hays are offering excellent rates of pay and full training will be provided online in line with DfE guidelines. This is a full time, temporary role Monday – Friday
