Looking for work – let Gratis help you

We’re not a recruitment agency and, unlike lots of jobs boards, we don’t accept CVs.  That’s because we believe every job application should be bespoke.  It’s easy to register a CV all over the place.  It’s easy to one click apply for a job vacancy.  It’s easy to understand why that very rarely works – successful candidates put a bit more effort into their application.

Every listing on the Gratis Jobs website has an ‘Apply’ button.  Sometimes that is an email address to send your CV (and a covering letter) to.  Sometimes that is a link to an online application form.  But whatever it is, make sure you tailor your application to the job description in front of you.

Sounds like common sense but most people don’t do that.  Do that and be the stand-out candidate.

Gratis Jobs lists vacancies throughout the United Kingdom and the site is updated every day with new job opportunities so make sure you check back regularly.

Apply as soon as you see a job you are interested in – some companies close job vacancies when they have a sufficient number of applicants.  Don’t assume a closing date is set in stone.

Most importantly, make sure you join our Facebook Groups and sign-up for notifications. That way you’ll know as soon as your perfect job becomes available.  You’ll find links to all of our Groups below:

Cambridge Job Vacancies  Ipswich Job Vacancies   MK Jobs (Milton Keynes)

Kings Lynn Job Vacancies  Norfolk Job Vacancies   Norwich Job Vacancies   St Albans Job Vacancies   Suffolk Job Vacancies

Tens of thousands of people are registered on our social media groups so we’re not in a position to offer 1-2-1 support with job applications.  However, you will find articles posted on our Groups from time to time offering advice on how to apply for jobs.
