Shift Leader 8-18yrs £20,000- £21500 per year
Week 1: 7:30am-10pm Monday, 7:30am-10pm Tuesday, 1pm-10pm Friday, 7:30am-10pm Saturday, 7:30am-10pm Sunday Week 2: 7:30am-10pm Wednesday, 7:30-10pm Thursday, 7:30-2:30 Friday
Support Worker – Adult Services Salary: £20,404.80 probation – £24159 qualified
Hours: 45 on Average (7.45am- 8pm) on a two week rota
Support Worker Children Services Salary: £18,137.60 – £19,500
Hours: 42 on Average, 3 week rota. 1 in 3 weekends.

Waking Nights Support Worker 8-18yr and 18-65 yr olds Salary: £19,044.48 Hours: 40 on Average- 21:45 to 9.15am 40 hours per week on a two week rota
We have a Residential Home and Day Special School offering care and education for students aged 4-19 years with Autism and either Moderate or Severe Learning Difficulties. A post 19 years old college is also situated on the same site for young adults with autism. The school and home is located in Banham, Norfolk which has an attractive yet safe and secure setting amidst the rural peace of over 30 acres of parkland. Diss and Attleborough are an easy drive away.
Would you like you to be part of a team offering a comprehensive residential service to student (students), the aim being to ensure the physical, social and emotional care, and development of the young residents and ensure consistency of learning throughout the 24 hour curriculum?
The aim of the site is to provide enough support to unlock each child’s potential so they can live fulfilling and productive lives. We provide the young people with as much freedom as possible in a safe and supervised environment. This is achievable due to the dedication and support from a range of employed professionals who are passionate, reliable and understanding.
People with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) can present difficult to manage challenging behaviour. This may on occasions necessitate having to physically intervene or remove students from potentially difficult or hazardous situations in line with their agreed behaviour management programmes.All staff working with students undertake MAPA training and these are the only techniques permitted to be used. All staff are expected to read and abide by school base policy on behaviour and physical intervention.
All contact staff will be expected to wear a uniform of a sweatshirt and/or polo shirt. This uniform will be provided by the school.

Essential criteria
Experienced RCCW with a track record of high performance or 1-2 years working in a transferable role
Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care (England) qualified or above or commitment to complete within probationary period
Good knowledge of how to work with young people of all abilities
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work within a 24/7 operation
Qualified driver and own your own vehicle

Essential criteria
You must be available to work the shifts required
You must have the desire to complete a funded NVQ 3 in a set time
You must understand some of the difficulties that children on the Autistic Spectrum may present
Qualified driver and own your own vehicle desirable
