Support Worker

We are recruiting for a full time experienced support worker to join our team in Headington OX3, working with people learning disabilities and complex needs in their own home and supporting with all aspects of their daily living.

You will need to be a driver as the individuals have their own Motability cars, which you would need to be prepared to drive.

Previous experience in care and support is essential due to the needs of the people you will be supporting.

At Affinity Trust all of the people we support have a learning disability but many have associated health needs, dementia, physical disabilities, profound and multiple learning disability or mental health needs.

Skills & Experience

You will need to be able to work flexibly across a 7 – day rota to include early shifts (7am-2.30pm) and late shifts (2.30pm-10pm). sleep-ins are also part of this working rota, for which a set amount is paid per sleep in.

All our Support Workers complete shadow shifts before working with the people we support and those that have not previously worked in care will be supported with completing the Care Certificate.
