Overview

Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor capable of leading projects from inception through to completion? Our client is seeking a highly skilled individual to act as the Lead Consultant in the delivery of projects both pre and post-contract across various sectors. This role involves comprehensive financial management of projects, supervision of junior staff, and business development functions.

Key Responsibilities: Lead projects from initial concept through to final completion.
Act as the Lead Consultant in the delivery of projects both pre and post-contract.
Undertake all aspects of financial management for projects.
Manage junior staff and contribute to business development.

Skills & Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Experience in workload demand planning and developing resourcing strategies.
Proficiency in techniques and processes for tracking work.
Ability to prepare, monitor, and control budgets.
Extensive experience in business and financial planning management.
Exceptional skills in budgetary profiling and cost control.
Ability to maintain sustainable relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
Knowledge of procurement routes.
Familiarity with estimating software.
Confidence in using all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to prepare and analyse detailed reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying or HNC in Building Studies.
Professional Qualification (e.g., MCIOB, MRICS).
Relevant Management Qualification.
