This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join an established manufacture, where you will be working on specialist projects and be directly involved in the company achieving their goals.

This client is one of the UKs leading engineering and technological specialists looking to provide reliable and ground breaking technology on vehicles on the land, sea and undersea. Providing you with the chance to help drive change and take a senior principle role overlooking everyday planning an micro managing of the engineering team.
Through continuous high quality production and looking to increase production rates to help grow the company further. they are now looking for a highly skilled electrical design engineer to help continue the high quality output.
In this role you will help provide a high quality customer service, taking a senior principle role and responsibility in design/project reviews, internal and external engineering management, Liaising with other internal departments and supporting various projects as when required including advising on the technical compliance of electrical design to customers
The applicant must be degree qualified or of equivalent experience, with MOD, Aerospace, Marine or similar industry experience, FMEA and safety capabilities with the ability to write and carry out safety assessments, an experience with national instruments hardware and Labview and a ability to use e-plan and SolidWorks electrical

*Overseeing the design and development of electrical systems to manufacturing stage
*Leading projects from cradle to grave
*Office Based, Monday to Friday
The Person
*Electrical Design Engineer
*Experience working in the MOD/ Defence, Aerospace, Marine, Automotive or similar sectors
*Qualified in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering (Degree, HND, HNC, NVQ etc.)
*Knowledge and experience of C++ programming would be desirable but not essential
