An amazing SEN school in Ealing are seeking a passionate SEN teacher to join their valued, supportive team. The SEN school provides support to children aged 4 19, who have severe and complex learning difficulties.
We collaborate extensively with professionals in Educational Psychology, Health, Social Care, and our Family Worker to ensure our learners receive comprehensive support and appropriate challenges to achieve their full potential.
Our teaching is supported by Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Music Therapy. We hold very high aspirations for all our learners and maintain high expectations for ourselves.
As a SEN Teacher, you will work collaboratively with an amazing team of teachers, support staff, specialists and therapists to help each student reach their full potential.
You will follow the schools values based approach to encourage confidence, motivated and independent learners through an inspiring and nurturing learning environment.

SEN Teacher
Working in a SEN School for students aged 4 19 with a range of learning difficulties
Delivering creative and stimulating SEN lessons
Have a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils
Promoting a nurturing, inspiring and engaging learning environment
Adapting and differentiating the curriculum for the individual needs of all students
Responsible for learning and achievement of all pupils, ensuring equality for all
Promoting a love of learning, inspiring pupils to try new things and reach their full potential
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children
Work proactively and collaboratively with supporting staff and external agencies
Outer London pay scale MPS 1 M6 + SEN allowance
Located in Richmond
Person Specification SEN Teacher
MUST HAVE UK QTS
Good academics required – GCSEs, A Levels and Degree
Strong understanding of the SEN curriculum & teaching standards
Personal or professional experience of working with children with SEN
Experience of using a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all pupils
Resilient and adaptable
Ability to differentiate approach based on individual needs
Enthusiastic and passionate about making a positive impact on pupils with SEN
Caring and compassionate nature
Confident, with good classroom and behaviour management skills, appropriate to childrens needs
Ability to work well as a team, but also independently on your own initiative
