We're working with an Engineering company who not only have a very good reputation In their field of work, but really are beginning to go places and they're going places fast! They're looking for a UK Sales Manager to join their expanding Team.
Your responsibilities will include managing & developing exiting accounts & champion customer satisfaction. You will seek & develop new business opportunities, achieving sales & commercial targets, which applies to existing markets as well as new sectors.
You will be the primary account contact, providing key account leadership & effective communication between the customer & the internal organisation. You will gather market information, including competitive intelligence, & help to derive sales & commercial strategy as well as populate the Company's knowledge systems.
This position entails significant travel around the UK. Given the technical content of the Company's products, the position is ideally suited to someone with a technical background who has a systemic belief in exceptional customer service.
Minimum of 5 years Sales/Accounts leadership, experience in managing accounts/relationships for multiple clients.
Commercial Awareness; excellent focus & understanding of profitability & client procurement processes.
Technical competence (whether electrical, mechanical &/or chemical).
Excellent IT skills.
Educated to a minimum HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering /Production/Science Discipline.
Management & Leadership skills.
UK Driving Licence.
