Principal Electrical Design Engineer Wanted for Building Services!

In this pivotal role, you’ll take charge of designing, implementing, and maintaining various Electrical Systems across diverse projects. Our client, renowned for excellence, operates in sectors such as Education, Retail, Commercial, Residential, Transport, and Technology.

**Key Responsibilities: **

  • – Act as the company’s representative in technical meetings with customers, professional teams, and contractors’ teams.
  • – Innovate the applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for various building Engineering services purposes.
  • – Mentor and support junior Engineers in their professional development.
  • – Produce comprehensive survey tests and reports on existing Electrical installations.
  • – Cultivate and foster positive client relations.
  • – Perform regular checks of designs and specifications.
  • – Execute Engineering calculations to ensure drawings align with robust industry and legal standards.

**Key Requirements: **

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience leading projects.
  • Adept knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation.
  • Previous track record as an Electrical Design Engineer.
  • Confidence in specification design/drawing across various building types.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of international working and the business operations of a global consultancy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
