My client is Northern Ireland’s leading Independent Environmental Consultancy, their established team of 25 scientists, planners and engineers offer high quality services in the following multi-disciplinary fields Ecology, Contaminated Land, Hydrogeology, Waste Management, Air Noise & Odour, Hydrology, Flood Risk Assessment, Geotechnical, Environmental Monitoring and Topographical Surveying. They seek to appoint an experienced Principal Consultant Ecologist to complement the senior team. You will be the key client liaison and form part of the Design Team on major infrastructure schemes. You will lead the Ecology team of seven, overseeing quality of surveys and reports to ensure they meet the needs of our wide-ranging clients from across the NI, ROI and UK. With an established portfolio of major clients and high-profile projects, and a plan for further expansion, this position would suit a motivated individual with an established scientific reputation in ecology. This role offers autonomy, variety and reward. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will hold Full CIEEM Membership, be educated to BSc Degree level in a relevant ecological discipline and have at least 5+ years experience within ecological consultancy and survey work. You will have proven client liaison skills and have experience in project team management. Client is offering a starting salary of £55,000 to £65,000 (negotiable) dependent on skills, experience and capability.
