Transport Planning Co-Ordinator, Essex, £25,000 + Benefits
Are you an ambitious transport professional, with either experience in planning or a desire to get into planning? If so, we'd love to hear from you as we are recruiting an exciting opportunity.
Our client, based in Essex, is looking to recruit a Transport Planning Co-Ordinator to join a small but busy Transport operation. You will work Mon – Friday, typically starting at 6:30am/7am and report into the Transport Manager.

Planning routes, work schedules and equipment as required by business needs
Liaising with drivers and handling any driver emergency issues that arise on the roads
Assist with fleet administration and organisation of MOT, vehicle servicing etc
Support with inbound and outbound calls to clients & customers, providing updates on deliveries and quotes as needed
Organising and third-party subcontract work as required
Updating TMS and ensuring work is correctly allocated on the system What are we looking for?
Ideally you'll have some experience working in transport, either transport/ fleet admin or a background in transport planning itself
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work in a busy transport operation Want to recruit a similar role?
