Multi-Skilled Engineer

Permanent Full Time

I am currently looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to form the final piece of a dynamic team within a fast-paced manufacturing business in Cambridgeshire.

Working with some highly-automated kit, you'll be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance as this business continue along the path of reducing machinery downtime.

Ideally you'll have a good electrical understanding as well as some software knowledge and the ability to fault-find. If you're capable of fault-finding in a panel with no drawings, I'd be keen to hear from you!

The business are responsible for producing, quite literally some of the sweetest products on the market! Available in all major retailers, this business have no plans to slow down, therefore we're looking for candidates who share the same mindset and have a passion for improvements.

If you are someone who is passionate about getting it right first time, has a knack for spotting areas of improvement and wants to enhance current processes, this could be the role for you.

This business also offer additional training as well as a variety of career progression paths. Want to be in automation longer term – Not a problem. Feel like you'd like to explore the world of controls – We've got you! Your options here aren't limited.

A few things we'll need you to have:

A recognised Engineering qualification – Full apprenticeship, BTEC, NVQ Level 3, HNC etc.
Experience of working with a variety of kit including conveyors, check-weighers, metal detectors
A good understanding of both mechanical and electrical maintenance works
A good attitude and the hunger to develop
The ability to be able to work a rotating days and nights shift pattern
