Our client a global leader in the manufacturing of plastic dispensing products, operating from their modern manufacturing plant based in Mallusk. We are recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and lead a team of 5-6 Maintenance Technicians in a large injection moulding department. This could be the perfect role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer who has gained lead engineer or supervisory experience looking to progress their career to the next level. Experience or knowledge of plastic manufacturing such as injection moulding or extrusion would be a huge benefit. Competitive salary package on offer negotiable on experience, working Monday to Friday days. Some hands on work is expected to support the team on the floor. The Role Daily oversight and supervision of the moulding maintenance department, including a team of up to 6 Technicians Run an organised and efficient maintenance department to ensure downtime is minimised Provide hands support and technical expertise when required Develop and optimise maintenance processes Work with colleagues in other areas effectively to achieve overall production goals Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans Organisation of spare parts and materials Monitor and report on KPI’s for up time/ OEE Drive continuous improvement, H&S and 5S standards Active role in capital projects and new installations What we are looking for Supervisory or Lead Engineer experience in a maintenance manufacturing setting Can organise, prioritise and delegate daily workloads Experienced with PM plans and increasing maintenance performance Strong technical knowledge across mechanical and electrical, ideally with injection moulding experience Excellent communicator across all levels of the business Proficient with IT systems such as MS Excel and other software Interested?
