A manufacturing company are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work on a rotating days & nights shift pattern. You will be responsible for conducting routine, reactive and preventative maintenance on production machinery. Previous experience working within a manufacturing or warehousing environment confident in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
As a Maintenance Engineer your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.
Working in a small Engineering team carrying out breakdowns repairs, preventative maintenance and improvements to a wide range of production machines.
Maintain all equipment to an acceptable standards and recorded any breakdowns for future references.
Provide maintenance cover on all production equipment.
Maintain work area, workshop and stores areas to BRC standards.
Responsible for developing and improving asset reliability and efficiency.
Exercise control over the standards of repairs and maintenance
Work with other departments to identify and carry out Continuous Improvement activities.
Comply with Health and Safety, Quality and Hygiene polices and standards.
An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with the following.
Apprentice trained Engineer with experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Experience working in food, FMCG or equivalent process industry.
Carry out PPM and breakdown repairs effectively.
Demonstrate a flexible, hands-on result orientated approach.
Understanding of Continuous improvement and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbally & written.
