Lithium3 are working exclusively with an organisation and assisting them in the search for the first Cloud Engineer to join the business.
The ideal profile is someone that is an Infrastructure Engineer that has strong Azure experience that wants to get hands on experience of deploying cloud services and to have this as a totally dedicated role.
This is a fantastic opportunity to grow into a senior Cloud Professional and to move away from a lot of traditional infrastructure.
The job title for this role shall be Cloud Engineer.
The role is reporting into the Head of Infrastructure and is 90% project based as the organisation are moving the infrastructure estate fully to Azure.
The role is pretty much remote, but it is expected that you meet the team once or twice a month, which is dependent upon where you live. The organisation also has people that are fully remote that make it into the office very infrequently.
Being a certified Azure Administrator Azure Associate is desirable, but not essential. Having strong Azure experience is key to this role as you will act as a technical mentor to others in Infrastructure and you will act as the deputy when the Head of Infrastructure isn’t around.
Salary is anything up to £50k and they are also a flexible employer when it comes to working hours.
You will get to work closely with the Architects when it comes to designing and implementing Azure cloud based solutions, so you will have the chance to grow within the role.
You will also get the chance to work with a specialist out-sourced provider that work with them for Azure related projects, so external stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management experience would be desirable.
