Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN KS3/4Humanities Teacher to join an SEMH Independent School in West London, W13.

Position: SEN Humanities Teacher (KS4)
School Type: Independent Specialist Behavioural Needs School (PRU)
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Full Time, 5 days per week
Start Date: September 2024
Salary: Paid according to your teaching scale
Location: West Ealing, W13
Contract: Long-term position with potential to turn into a permanent placement
Role Overview:
You will be joining a specialist behavioural school that spans two private campuses. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching Humanities to Key Stage 4 students with diverse learning needs. Your students will range from those preparing for GCSEs to those at entry or functional skills levels. This requires proficiency in teaching across varied abilities. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and assessing all lessons. Initially, this is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), teaching qualifications, or relevant teaching experience within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)
Experience in teaching Humanities or SEN pupils
Specialised SEN teaching experience is essential
A valid DBS check on the update service
The right to work full-time in the UK
