HR Advisor – Huntingdon
Salary: competitive (dependant on experience)
Hours: Full-time, split week in the office/ working from home, Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

They pride themselves on delivering a seamless HR service to those within various educational institutions – they are currently seeking a Senior HR Advisor to enable them to continue to deliver their 5-star service.
Accountabilities of the HR Advisor include:
*To manage and support a portfolio of clients on all aspects of HR management.
*Coach and mentor more junior team members (e.g. HR Advisors) to support their development and to ensure that all customers receive timely, accurate and professional advice.
*Offer accurate interpretation, advice, application and representation to customers on employment legislation, best practice and policies and procedures in relation to and in the context of customers' policies and procedures on a range of HR matters. This includes complex casework on recruitment and selection, remuneration, terms and conditions of service, disciplinary and capability (performance and health) cases, grievance, redundancy and restructures, conversions and TUPE etc.
*Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders.
*Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to drive the delivery of the business' HR plans.
*Support with building strong talent pipelines and managing recruitment processes.
*Visit clients to provide support and advice on HR concerns to allow them to drive their business forward.
*To attend and advise, at formal hearings/appeals, and advise at union consultation meetings.
*Ensure outstanding customer service in all areas of HR and Payroll.
To be considered for the position:
*You will be a confident and enthusiastic HR Advisor with experience including (but not limited to) – employment legislation, restructures, training, responsibility for issues such as the appointment and dismissal of staff, grievance, disciplinary procedures, absence management, redundancy, attending formal hearings etc.
*Ideally you will be CIPD Level 3 accredited or be willing to progress with this.
