Finance and Administration Manager

Our client a leading international logistics specialist based in Dover have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance & Administration Manager. Reporting to the International Director this role is within a fast paced environment and candidate will need to be motivated and driven.

Responsible for

Managing the Sales and Purchasing invoicing process of the International Operation
Overseeing the department's Credit Control functions
Controlling the HMRC Deferment Account
Reconciling Inter-Company Accounts
Producing monthly departmental P+L figures
Processing continental VAT Refund ClaimsThe successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

The ability to be proactive and work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and develop strong working relationships
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
A good understanding of accounts
An understanding of the need for discretion and confidentiality when handling data
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Hold a valid UK passport and full driving license as travel elsewhere in Europe may be required
An understanding of SAP would be an advantage
