Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated International Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our machinery at client sites across the globe. The position demands extensive travel (up to 40% overseas), strong technical skills, and excellent customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and Commission: Efficiently install, commission, and maintain Universal Converting Equipment machinery at client locations worldwide.
Troubleshoot and Repair: Perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs to ensure machinery operates at peak performance.
Support and Train: Offer technical support and training to clients on how to operate and maintain equipment effectively.
Collaborate: Work closely with the engineering team to address and resolve complex technical issues.
Ensure Compliance: Guarantee all installation and maintenance tasks meet company standards and client specifications.
Documentation: Create detailed service reports and maintain comprehensive documentation for each project.
Customer Relations: Foster high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and clear communication.
Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies during on-site activities.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 3-5 years of field service engineering experience, preferably with automated machinery.
Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capability to work independently under pressure.
Communication Skills: Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness and capability to travel extensively (up to 40% of the time) and adapt to flexible hours, with installations typically ranging from 2-3 weeks.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal is a plus.
Documentation: Valid passport and driver’s license are required.
Preferred Skills:
Automation Systems: Familiarity with PLC programming and automation systems.
Language Skills: Multilingual abilities are an asset.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of international standards and regulations pertaining to machinery.
Compensation and Benefits:
Overtime: Door-to-door pay, with overtime rates at 1.3x, Saturdays at 1.5x, and Sundays at 2.0x (first 8 hours of weekend overtime at 1.5x).
Holidays: Standard 20 + BH days per year.
