Overview
Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Wakefield (hybrid)
Yoh are currently partnered with growing business who are looking for a senior Embedded Software Engineer to lead the team and take on responsibility of pushing the product forward. The general overview of the embedded software engineer would be to ensure the latest advancements in research and internal development across the electronic and embedded systems.
This role is primarily remote with some hybrid on-site working, ideally it would be 2 days a week on-site, but this can be based on the individual as well as the current project and tasks needing to be performed. The expected salary for this type of position is between £50,000 – £60,000 per annum.
Essential Skills
· Strong experience working in embedded systems development.
· Proficiency working in embedded C/C++ with experience working on real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS)
· Knowledge of microcontroller architectures (e.g., Microchip, STM32, etc)
· Experience with communication technology such as Bluetooth, CAN bus, Wi-Fi etc.
