Electrical EstimatorAre you a skilled Electrical Estimator looking for a new opportunity in the construction industry? We have an exciting position available for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team.The Role and CompanyWorking with a specialist contractor that predominantly installs and upgrades data center’s and Commercial spaces. This successful regional contractor are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team. This role is open to both experienced and junior level applicants.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrical Estimator, your key responsibilities will include:Conducting thorough analysis of project specifications and requirementsEstimating labour, material, and equipment costs for electrical projectsCollaborating with project managers to develop accurate and competitive bidsReviewing and interpreting project plans, drawings, and specificationsIdentifying potential risks and providing recommendations for risk mitigationKeeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in electrical estimatingProviding support and guidance to the project team during the bidding processBuilding and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliersEnsuring compliance with project schedules and deadlinesParticipating in project meetings and providing input on cost-saving measuresKey RequirementsWe are ideally looking for the following experience and skills:Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industryKnowledge of electrical systems and materialsExperience in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawingsExcellent mathematical and analytical skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in using estimating software and toolsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential)On OfferOn offer is the opportunity to work within a supportive and positive team culture with a business that offer development and training and career development.
