Overview

I am currently seeking a P.A./carer to join my team of 3 care P.A.s because one long term employee is moving on to pastures new. A sociable, out-going and highly motivated former professional, I now enjoy spending much of my time socialising with friends, painting and, to a lesser extent, writing.  I am a full time wheelchair user due to a spinal cord injury leading to paralysis. I generally embrace life with passion.

This role primarily involves personal care and light domestic duties (ironing, cleaning). Ideally you will have a mature outlook and enjoy working in a professional, efficient way albeit in a relaxed environment. Although not essential, some experience of working in a care-giving environment (although not specifically adult disabilities) is desirable. Whilst there are only 4 set hours there will be the possibility of additional hours to cover holidays, sickness etc. I aim to be as flexible as possible regarding holiday leave and strive to maintain a positive work environment.
