Brio Digital are happy to be supporting a client of ours in the Energy sector who are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.

Rate; £500/day Inside IR35
Length; 3m (potential to extend)

Energy sector experience is essential
Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Data Extraction and Transformation: Design and execute complex SQL queries to extract structured and semi-structured data from various sources within the Azure environment.
- Data Modeling and Warehousing: Apply your Python skills to develop robust ETL pipelines in Databricks, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. Architect and maintain data warehouses within Azure.
- Insight Generation: Leverage your analytical expertise to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies using statistical techniques and data mining algorithms in Python.
- Visualization and Reporting: Create compelling dashboards and reports using Azure data visualization tools or Python libraries to communicate findings effectively in a clear and actionable way.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists, to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Data Analyst Experience:
- 2+ years of proven experience in data analysis, with an emphasis on SQL and Python.
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases and advanced SQL query writing.
- Hands-on proficiency in Databricks for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
- Solid understanding of Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics).
