Hours of week: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Location: Great Yarmouth

Duration: 3 months

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant on behalf of our client for a 3-month period with an immediate start.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Customer Services Team where you will be providing excellent customer service to our client’s customers through various access channels such as telephony, emails and online services.

The role:

To work with the customer service team answering telephone calls for General Enquiries and Payments, this will include completing online forms for their Bulky Item Service and dealing with Brown Bin new or renewal payments. Dealing with general enquiry emails for the organisation and be familiar with their website which will help with some enquiries.

The ideal candidate must be:

* Numerate and literate and have ability to provide advice and guidance across a range of Council services.

* Candidate will have excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with customers in a polite and professional manner.

* It is important that the candidate has good interpersonal skills, “can do” attitude and willing to go the extra mile when required.

* Experience of working in a demanding customer service environment is desirable
