Community Engagement Coordinator

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Community Engagement Coordinator to be based within the Human Resources department at our head office in Loughton.
The Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development of the Group Responsible Business Strategy and coordinating the relationship between external and internal stakeholders who work closely with us across all of our construction schemes.
To understand the contractual requirements in relation to planning agreements, specifically Section 106 obligations, and to liaise with Construction teams and subcontractor's in order to achieve these requirements across all projects
To promote CR activities to media and stakeholders where appropriate
In conjunction with the HR Director, lead the implementation of the Group CR Strategy
Engage and nurture relationships with CR partners, organisations, and communities in order to support the business strategy, acting as the primary contact for stakeholders
To develop the Group response to the Global Sustainable Development Goals
To partner with the Head of Sustainability & Urban Development to support the achievement of Carbon Neutral/Net Zero
To collate and produce evidence for monthly board reports
To liaise with Construction teams and subcontractors regarding S106 data requirements and to ensure that all data/spreadsheets are collated, recorded, and submitted in an accurate and timely manner using the appropriate systems, portals, and spreadsheets
To develop and promote positive relationships with schools, colleges, charities etc. within the communities in which we work
Develop and implement a regular programme of stakeholder meetings to discuss updates and actions
Must have previous experience in a CR / Reporting role within a busy office environment.
Should have an excellent command of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel.
Will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail.
Will have strong time management and organisational skills.
Must have good reporting skills including collating, recording, and analysing data.
Must have previous knowledge and experience of managing Section 106 requirements and liaising with local councils to meet the agreed targets.
Must have an understanding and previous experience with the Sustainable Development Goals and with using the HACT model for calculating social value.
