About The Role
We’re recruiting for a Restaurant Manager to head up our Buffet Restaurants serving breakfast and dinner daily to our guests who have booked a pre-paid dining package. We’re looking for a growth leader with strongcommunication and influencing skills and someone who demonstrates our brandvalues and enjoys getting stuck in with our team. You’ll have an ability to perform well in abusy environment, creating smiles whilst our guests enjoy the home ofentertainment. A great eye for detail is needed and the ability to driveconsistent Butlin’s standards whilst being guest obsessed and operatingefficiently in everything you do. You’ll be passionate, confident and show thatwe care for each other. As a Restaurant Manager you’ll be vital in helping our guest’s create smiles – gettingstuck in to give them a great dining experience and may work across more thanone venue supporting the wider department! You’ll be leading a team of peoplewho are responsible for providing our guests with an altogether more fun andentertaining holiday.
We are looking for a passionate leader that enjoys working to consistent standards. You will focus on the team experience through training, coaching and development whilst being able to balance this with keeping our guest experience at the heart of your decisions. You should have excellent communication skills and be confident engaging with teams at all levels. You should also have a curious mindset and not be afraid to challenge the status quo. Whilst your skills and experience are important to us, your approach, mindset and attitude are of equal interest to us.
Typical working hours: working 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, this is a permanent role paid monthly covering a mixture of shifts between 11am and midnight and is eligible for a 10% bonus (criteria to achieve)
You should be able to demonstrate the following:
Delighting guests: You are passionate about delivering fantastic foodand great service, putting the guests first in all you do.
Developing people: passionate about delivering exceptionalexperiences to guests by nurturing, training and coaching the team in afun-filled environment
Driving standards: You have the ability to lead team to excellence,incorporating all brand standards and Butlin’s way of working
Delivering results: Haveexperience of working in a leadership role in a volume-driven restaurantenvironment and thrive on achieving both short and long term goals
