Overview
An exciting role has become available for an English Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Daventry area to cover on a long term basis with the potential for the role to become permanent. The full time post is due to start after the Easter break with shortlisting now taking place.
The schools latest OFSTED report from 2022 shows Good across all areas, this is down to the senior management team and the support system they have in place for the students.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
To teach both English Literature and Language to KS4, including full classroom responsibilities
To prepare students for GCSE exams, assessing progress
To work with students with a mixture of abilities including SEN needs
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
QTS required, PGCE in English
Proven experience teaching English to KS4 (ECTs welcome)
Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
Two education or school-based references where applicable
