Your new company I am currently working on behalf of an established organisation based in County Down to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their existing finance team. This is an organisation that provides cutting edge products and innovating solutions, and you will have the opportunity to work in a small, established finance team. Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a range of duties including: Review and processing of sales orders prepared by the Sales and Parts team. Managing the company’s credit control. Verifying VAT on invoices to ensure compliance. Resolve queries by key internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner. Taking credit card payments over the phone. What you’ll need to succeed To be considered for this position, you should be able to demonstrate 1-2 years generalist bookkeeping / sales ledger experience with a good understanding of double entry bookkeeping, sales and general ledgers. Applicants should possess an all-round computer literacy with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and written and both internally and externally.
