Overview

Are you an experienced Wirer looking for an immediate start?

If so, don’t go anywhere – an opportunity for a talented Wirer / Electronics Technician has arisen at a market-leading design and manufacturing company.

The company itself is a high-technology, technical manufacturing company that has seen extensive growth in its order book in recent years supplying to a variety of industries, including Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Mass Manufacturing.

In a busy manufacturing team, your Electrical Assembly Technician role will see you work within the production department, working on cutting edge electro-mechanical products.

Wirer Requirements:

  • Previous experience of wiring on large scale equipment and electronic assemblies
  • Experienced in electro-mechanical assembly of high technology products
  • 3-phase and single phase wiring would also be hugely beneficial
  • Previous experience of PCB assembly and soldering – a mixture of cable soldering, wiring and electro-mechanical assembly is essential
  • You should have experience of building small sub-assemblies and complete units
  • Ability to work to fine tolerances and use small hand-tools is required
  • Proven ability to accurately follow assembly instructions and build procedures is essential

Wirer Requirements:

  • The Assembler will be required to build sub-assemblies and complete assemblies
  • Working from drawings and written instructions, candidates will need to be able to follow these accurately to build assemblies
  • Regular assembly of cables, and wiring into terminals, assemblies etc
  • Candidates will be required to assemble a wide variety of technical and scientific equipment
  • The Electrical Assembly Technician may be required to do brazing work on other assemblies as well
