About the Company:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our client’s warehouse facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading wagons, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operating FLT counterbalance equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Operating overhead gantry crane where required.
  • Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining inventory records.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • General warehousing duties.
  • Working as a team to hit delivery deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence and transport essential.
  • FLT counterbalance licence is preferred.
  • Experience with overhead gantry crane operation is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts: 06:00-1400, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00.
