Overview

The Administrative Assistant will work as part of the Professional Services Team (PST) and provide administrative support in Student Services.  Duties will include responding to personal, telephone and e-mail enquiries from students, University staff, external callers and organisations, and providing additional administrative support. Along with other Reception colleagues, the post-holder will be required to cover extended opening hours on a rota basis (some evening and Saturday work).

You must have five passes at GCSE at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and English (or equivalent qualification or relevant experience in a comparable role). Recent experience of working in an administrative role in a busy office environment and excellent customer relations in person, by telephone and in writing are essential.

The post is available immediately on a full-time basis, however we are happy to accept applications for part-time and job share options also.
