Overview
Lionbridge is currently engaged in the Tender process for EP TRAD LUX 2024, the latest European Parliament tender for the provision of translation services. As the current contract holder for Hungarian and Danish languages, we are confident in securing this contract once again and expanding to additional language pairs.
We are currently looking for additional linguists, experts in the translation of EU content for the below lots:
Lot 1: Target Bulgarian – from Source: English, French, German, Italian & Spanish
Lot 2: Target Czech – from Source: English, French, German, Italian & Spanish
Lot 4: Target German – from Source: Italian
Lot 6: Target English – from Sources: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Maltese, Polish, Lithuanian, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian
Lot 7: Target Spanish – from Sources: German, & Italian
Lot 9: Target Finnish – from Sources: English, French, German, Italian & Spanish
Lot 10: Target French – from Sources: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Lithuanian, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish
Lot 11: Target Irish – from Source: English
Lot 14: Target Italian – from Source: Spanish
Lot 18: Target Dutch – from Sources: French, German, Italian & Spanish
Lot 19: Target Polish – from Sources: English, French, German, Italian & Spanish
Lot 20: Target Portuguese – from Sources: English, French, German, Italian & Spanish
Lot 22: Target Slovak – from Sources: English, French, German, Italian & Spanish
Lot 24: Target Swedish – from Sources: English, French, German, Italian & Spanish
Requirements
- Native-level command in any of the target languages above-mentioned
- Fluent knowledge of any of the source languages above-mentioned
- A University degree in any subject awarded after completion of at least 3 years’ study
- Experience translating EU content preferably for European Court of Auditors, the Economic and Social Committee, the Committee of the Regions and the European Parliament
- SDL Trados Studio proficiency
- Familiarity with IATE, Eur-Lex required
