Training Quality Manager

TRAINING QUALITY MANAGER

Working in the assessment centre in Gloucester 2 days per week some weeks and 4 days per week others, so flexibility is required, other days working from home, however, can reside anywhere in the UK, as they will pay your mileage to go to the centre from home and also can stay in accommodation, very high standard with large rooms, Restaurant, Bar, Gym, Launderette etc

* Managing a team of Freelance and Permanent Assessors upto 10 staff which consist of Admin, Assessors, IQA, Customer Services etc

* Training college that provides a range of courses and programmes ranging from apprentices to fully accredited qualifications

* Staff deal learners for the Fire Service, Justice, Police Forces, Ambulance Services, Military

* Assisting with modernising and driving the changes in the organisation

* Ensuring training programmes are a mark of excellence for the industry, awarding organisations and states best practice, in terms of both the delivery and underlying process, as well as trainers who deliver them

* Liaising with stakeholders

* Ensure excellent management of quality assurance processes, continuous improvement of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment

* To be able to balance innovation and development with performance and accountability to achieved sustainable improvement and support and motivate the training of colleagues to use creative e-learning approaches

* Produce quality assurance plan and to ensure checks are undertaken and data produced

* Staff appraisals

* Preparing for self-assessment reviews, quality improvement plans

* Preparing for Ofsted and external quality visits

Essential Experience required for the role:-

* Experience of working in a regulated education environment, either work based learning, or college or further education sector

* Useful if experience of blue light responses, however not essential at all as will also look at people who have managed teams who have delivered in management, insurance, accounts or similar

* Experience in a similar role or with a Quality Manager or Lead IQA background

* IQA or Assessor qualified or teaching qualifications

Salary and Benefits:-

* £35K to £45K per annum

* Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30 pm
