Temporary Assistant Accountant – Grimsby – Up to £30,000

Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a market leading and well-established organisation in the recruitment for a temporary Assistant Accountant for an initial 12-month basis. As the Assistant Accountant you will assist with all aspects of the day-to-day functions of the finance department. This varied role would suit someone looking to progress and learn within a successful business long term to grow and develop their skills.

Help support the month end closure processes, including settlements, preparation and processing of journals, running depreciation and mass reversal of journals
Prepare balance sheet reconciliation file
Set up starters and leavers in the expenses system Concur and changing approval routes in
Verification of bank details for new vendor set up
Prepare journal listing reports
Supporting the Finance team in supporting internal accounting practices and reporting in order to provide improved financial information to stakeholders
Prepare and update the month end timetable
Help support the business analyst with financial and management reporting including the yearly budget processRequired Skills & Experience:

AAT qualified or actively studying
Understand and maintain SAP master data (WBS elements, cost centres, stat orders purchase requisition validation codes etc).
Confidence on Excel including pivots and lookups
