Technical Sales ManagerSalary – up to 45k BasicHybrid – covering the UKTechnical Sales / Construction / Civil Engineering / Midlands / SalesThe Recruitment Group is working with the UK’s largest Geosynthetic material suppliers who manufacture and supply products to the Construction and Civil engineering sector.Purpose of the Technical Sales ManagerAs a Technical Sales Manager, you will be an integral part of the future growth of the department.  The focus for this role is to develop our range of Grass Protection by calling on and building strong relationships with all specifiers to generate specifications with the support of our engineering team, provide seminars and offer solutions to customer design requests and project management of new and existing projects. Your key influencers will be consultant engineers, civil engineering contractors, councils and agencies to name a few.  You will work effectively within the team to achieve personal and department objectives in line with strategy and embrace the Company Vision, Goals, Values & Behaviours.Main duties and responsibilities of the Technical Sales Manager roleDiscover and establish new specifications and identify potential projectsAchieve personal and department targetsDevelopment of our Grass Protection Systems by discovering and establishing new specifications and identifying potential projectsIncrease Company Brand awareness within Construction/Civil Engineering sectorsPromote Company products and servicesPre and post site advice, visits and assistancePresent CPD style seminarsWork effectively within the team to ensure market leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times.Provide technical assistance and recommendations utilising the engineering department where appropriateMaintain and update CRM systemAssist with the implementation of department sales and marketing strategies.Develop new and existing targeted accounts.Maintain and increase the conversion rate of technical recommendations to orders.Experience/knowledge requirements for a Technical Sales roleExperience in practical of different specialised surfacing although this is not essentialExperience in gaining and defending specificationsExcellent communication and presentation skillsFull UK driving licenceWilling to travel throughout the UK with nights awayActively demonstrate the ‘Values and Behaviours’ of the businessUnderstand and work in line with the Geosynthetics Limited business planExperience in customer relations.Computer Literate with good IT skills.Company Benefits for Technical Sales Manager roleCompany Car/Mobile Phone/Credit Card.Competitive Salary.Office opening hours 8.15 – 5.00, standard working day is 7.5 hours, flexible shift options dependant on team cover. – offering an excellent work/life balance.Dress code smart/casual, dress down Friday in the office.25 days holiday plus bank holidays. 4 or 5 days kept for Christmas shutdown.Structured Company Bonus, we can earn up to 10% of salary after 6months of probation.BUPA health care after 6 months’ probation.Auto-enrol Pension.Please contact Jordann @ The Recuitment Group to discuss further
