Technical Coordinator role within a privately owned developer in the East. Role will be coordinating all technical information for your sites from planning, through build to completion
Privately owned developer with an buoyant land bank, developing schemes that cater to a wide ranging customer base from first time buyers to second, third and beyond. They have recently restructured to accommodate growth of the business, both in regional expansion and for individuals within teams. You will be joining a young and dynamic team, who are actively implementing new ideas and changes to improve housebuilding operations. You will be welcomed to play an integral part in moving the team and department forward, alongside performing duties typical of a coordinator. Your primary function is to ensure all the technical information for sites is collated and ready for start on site. This includes:
Visiting site as required.
Optimise buildability through implementation of cost effective design solutions
Submit all necessary material to statutory authorities to discharge planning conditions; NHBC conditions.
Provide technical back up and advice to all other departments where needed.
Appoint, brief, challenge and assist all necessary consultants in their delivery of design planning and building technology information for tendering and building purposes in a timely and coordinated manor.
Support on various section agreements as required including 38, 278, 106 and 104.Profile
You will come from an Architectural and/or Civil Engineering background, Ideally with direct experience working for a residential developer, or at least have had direct contact in working for one (such as through consultancy). You will have a thorough understanding of the challenges and requirements this position requires, in particular flexibility and being able to work on multiple projects at once, often at vary stages, scales and complexities.
You must have a driving licence for this post as you will be required to visit site.
