An exciting Software Developer opportunity within a high growth tech business providing a Cloud-based POS system to small and mid-sized retailers. They compete and win against large US-based tech giants. They are profitable and growing fast.
Their client base is retailers in the outdoor sector, from Cycle through to Equestrian. They’ve revolutionised the way the UK cycle retail works, and helped small companies compete and beat larger businesses. Now at the early stages of internationalisation, and having secured a solid customer base in Ireland, they are poised to push out into mainland Europe and beyond.
Now looking to expand their Software Development team. We’re looking for a person with high attention to detail to help produce industry-leading solutions through the updates and release cycles of company products and software. The role will involve working on improving the existing architecture and working on new products and features.

Now working to develop and extend their exciting Cloud-based software platform using the latest technology (Vue.js 3 and .Net Core)
The next big projects is to fully internationalise their products and create a new user interface for Cloud POS platform.
Key Software Developer Responsibilities:
* Developing industry-leading solutions together with your team.
* Write software that is thoroughly tested and adheres to our code review standards.
* Ensure all work follows company standards and is properly managed thru our Jira issue management platform.
* Work closely with your team and other development teams as well as QA engineers, product, and project managers.
* Participating in daily stand-up meetings & Sprint meetings.
* Attention to best practices, quality and detail, and a personal drive to deliver great results.
Essential Software Developer Skills/Qualifications:
* Microsoft .Net.
* C# experience.
* General understanding of HTML, CSS, jQuery, and AJAX.
* A strong curiosity with a problem-solving attitude.
* A sound grasp of ICT, such as using MS Office.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong numeracy skills.
* Ability to work to deadlines under pressure.
* Upbeat and friendly attitude.
* The ability to work well in a team as well as independently on individual projects and challenges.
* Ability to be able to pick up new systems with ease.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
* Azure DevOps and Git
