Senior Test Engineer
Due to continuing growth, we are seeking an experienced Test Engineer, ideally with a Chemistry or science background, to join our global engineering team.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Apply their skill and experience to hand-on testing of our range of products
- Be an advocate for risk-based Testing within Optibrium – promoting practises that will lead to high quality products
- Work as part of a team, utilising your excellent problem solving and communication skills to understand user requirements, provide technical feedback and identify potential risks.
- Work with the Testing organisation to support the product and development team plan, design, develop and maintain compelling products for our customers
- Use a methodical engineering approach to the analysis and diagnosis of complex, cross-disciplined technical issues and defects
- Have experience of working in an agile environment
It would be good if you have exposure to some of the following:
- Exploratory testing
- Performance testing
- Test automation
- Agile development
- Testing web service applications (e.g. using REST, HTTP, Fiddler)
