Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer
What will you be doing? As a SENIOR ELECTRONICS HARDWARE engineer, you will join GAYDON team to support our activities within the Automotive sector. You will play a critical role in designing and developing high-speed electronic hardware circuits. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability and performance of our electronic systems, including Ethernet and PLC-based solutions. You will collaborate closely with software and hardware engineers to achieve seamless hardware-software integration and provide support for testing, analysis, and troubleshooting of hardware issues. Key Responsibilities: – Electronic Hardware Design: Design and develop high-speed electronic hardware circuits, with a focus on reliability and performance. – Schematics and PCB Review: Conduct thorough reviews of schematics and PCB layouts, considering signal integrity and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference). – Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with software and hardware engineers to ensure smooth hardware-software integration. – Testing and Analysis: Support testing activities, perform in-depth analysis, and troubleshoot hardware-related issues. – Problem Solving: Apply creative problem-solving skills to optimize electronics system performance and resolve technical challenges. Qualifications – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. – Proven experience in designing high-speed electronic hardware circuits. – Strong knowledge of Ethernet and PLC-based systems. – Proficiency in schematic design and PCB layout. – Familiarity with signal integrity and EMI considerations. – Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. – Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. – Creative problem-solving skills to optimize electronics system performance.
