Are you are Qualified and caring Teacher? Prospero Teaching are looking for an outstanding SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Swindon.
You will be responsible for providing quality teaching to pupils of various ages (Primary – Secondary) with complex needs, ensuring they reach their full potential.
You must have previous experience of teaching students with special educational needs, preferably in a specialist school. You should also have a good understanding of the current SEN Code of Practice, and be committed to promoting the school’s ethos of inclusion.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons, and be able to differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils. You must be able to work collaboratively with other staff, carers and external agencies, to ensure that all pupils have the best possible educational experience.

Location – Swindon
Position – SEN Teacher

Full time/part time – Full Time
Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £150 per day
Hours – 8:00am – 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
Previous experience working in a UK or SEN school/similar setting
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
SEN teaching experience (Essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
