Sales Account Manager

An award-winning international company who make high end wholesale clothing and boots for the sporting industry are looking for a Sales Account Manager to look after nearly 200 of their smaller specialist clients in the UK and Scandinavia. Your role is to build relationships with the clients, collect sales data, discuss new products coming on the market, deal with issues, help with merchandising and manage their expectation.

Essential Experience: –

Strong phone presence and experience calling multiple customers per day
Commercially driven individual with a numerate skill supported by the ability to interpret data.
Good understanding of weekly sales reporting and KPI's
Excellent analytical & problem-solving
A confident communicated with great listening skills
Good written communication skills, able to document details and follow up.
Excellent working knowledge of order processing systems, online B2B, excel and power point.Key Tasks: –

Being the main point of contact for assigned retailers and ensuring first class service to these retailers
A sound knowledge of all products categories both from a technical point of view and commercial to up sell in line with company strategy
Reporting regularly on business performance and market insight.
A strong link to Customer Services to ensure alignment and consistency.
You need a passion for customer, product and data.
Attend sales launches and sales meeting when needed to build relationships with the sales team.
Scoping new customer enquiries and coordinating with the area manager
Virtual presentation where products needs to be presented.
Follow up sales leads from Area ManagersThis company is passionate about its product, staff and customers and people go the extra mile because they take pride in their work, so you need to be a good team player but also self-motivated. The salary offered is £22k – £24k with an achievable monthly bonus of £200 – £400k – OTE £2k – £5k with a good annual bonus based on performance and profit, private medical insurance, life insurance x 4, 5% pension contribution, company parties, days out and free and reduced items.
