Here at Howells, we are working with a leading social housing / maintenance contractor to recruit a successful and proactive Resident Liaison Officer to join their team in Grimsby.

Main Purpose of the role:

To provide consultation and support to residents prior to, during and after works to their homes, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

To develop effective working relationships with residents, clients, subcontractors, site-based personnel, local stakeholders, the local community and the Customer Care Department.

The RLO will work alongside a construction project team, working on schemes

Key responsibilities:

Personnel must be professional and of the highest standard, including correct uniform to reflect the company branding
Provide an efficient, courteous and professional service to all telephone
Ensure written correspondence to residents is generated and distributed in line with the programme of
Carry out choice events, consultation events and individual consultation with residents regarding future
Carry out individual resident inductions to include – introduction to the company, the RLO process, scope of works, property and personal belongings condition surveys with photographs for
Complete resident profiling and work with the site management team to implement effective working practices and discuss with the Client liaison representative when appropriate. Organise and provide support needs: packing boxes, dust sheets, storage and other facilities as required and
Ensure all communication and liaison activities are carried out to satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Where applicable to the scheme, ensure resident surveys are issued, returned and logged.
All procedures and paperwork to adhere to the Business Management System (BMS).
Observe site Health and Safety rules and report risks immediately to the Site
Attend site meetings, client and resident meetings as
Provide information and reports as required by the line
Identify PR opportunities and report to the line
Maintain access to properties, visit residents' homes at the frequency determined by the scheme.
Register resident complaints and resolve as per the company complaints
Ensure the site teams are briefed and updated regarding any relevant resident's requirements and
Develop and maintain "house files" for all properties affected by the works, ensuring all correspondence to and from residents is

A clean driving licence holderThis is a fix term contract, full time role. You will receive an excellent salary of up to £19k – 24k per annum.
