Registered Manager

REGISTERED MANAGER POSITION

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Registered Manager (Learning Disability Residential Service) in Rural Northamptonshire. The Registered Manager will report directly to the Quality Care Manager and be responsible for the running of 2 small for people with learning disabilities with complex needs.

To be successful in this role, you should have proven leadership and strong management experience with a comprehensive knowledge of legislation and policy that governs the delivery of social care services. Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements, meeting, and exceeding care standards, taking accountability for the homes striving for excellence, high ratings, and quality recognition and delivering positive management of a medium sized workforce including:

HR/supervisions/appraisal/staff training/ acknowledging and utilising staff potential (with the support of Training Manager)
We require a highly motivated and experienced leader who has the drive and passion to deliver excellent care and support. Be able to develop close working relationships with the community multi-disciplinary teams, and other external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the care of the people we support
Lead our care staff and volunteers
Monitor and ensure compliance is met
Ensure quality standards are met
CQC regulations and standards are met
Manage budgets
Care

To ensure each person we support has a detailed care plan in place, which is reviewed and updated on a regular basis
Ensure delivery of person-centered care that promotes independence, choice, and dignity to empower the people we support
To ensure all care records are in place, maintained, checked, and reviewed in line with internal and external guidelines
Have an in-depth knowledge of the needs of each person we support
Manage the medication system within each home
Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis, building positive and transparent relationships
Ensure each person we support leads a valued and fulfilled life, including person centered activity, social inclusion, active support, and community involvement.
Oversee all health appointments and needs
Ensure the home environment is safe, clean, and homely, meeting the needs of each person we support
Each person we support eats an organic and balanced diet in line with their individual preferences and dietary requirements
To attend Clinics and Therapy Reviews
Team Management and Leadership

To be involved with recruitment, induction, and training
Supervise and appraise all staff
Manage rotas, and breatheHR, including sickness, annual leave, and training
Oversee Timesheets for Salaries
To be routinely involved with HR processes
Establish and maintain two-way communication
Lead regular Team Meetings
Promote our company ethos and values
Ensure staff and volunteers follow internal policy, procedure, and guidelines as well as governing bodies such as CQC
