Role: Recruitment Specialist

Location: Hybrid role, team are based in Cambridge, working from home c. 3 days a week

Hours: full time Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience

The role

A fantastic opportunity following promotion for someone to join our recruitment team here at Marshall Motor Group, supporting on head office and senior roles within the automotive industry. This is a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to really make an impact and deliver a quality candidate and stakeholder experience.

Who you are

  • An experienced recruiter confident working at pace and influencing stakeholders to drive a quality recruitment experience
  • Be creative, innovative and proactive in your approach and have the ability to build strong relationships and credibility with key stakeholders
  • Able to coach and support leaders across the business, upskilling them in all aspects of recruitment including standardisation and consistency
  • A candidate focused recruiter eager to deliver a ‘best in class’ experience
  • Previous automotive recruitment experience an advantage, but not essential
  • Agency experience ideal, internal recruitment experience not essential
  • Be comfortable with SLA’s and a focus on reducing time to hire and increasing retention through quality recruitment

What you’ll do

  • Be a true recruitment specialist providing an outstanding and innovative recruitment service and support to Leaders across the business ensuring high calibre, engaged people are effectively recruited into the right roles
  • Help deliver a highly effective direct sourcing strategy, directly source candidates for current vacancies and develop a pipeline of external talent to fulfil future requirements
  • Support the development, innovation and continuous improvement across key aspects of the recruitment cycle- particularly sourcing, attracting, selecting and on-boarding as well as the overall candidate experience
  • Highlight external recruitment best practice and to help implement any changes at Marshall Motor Group as required
  • Support the effective provision of recruitment administration across the recruitment cycle, working in partnership with the HR admin team
  • Collate and share data and insight to key stakeholders to enable improve decision making and overall resourcing and business performance
