Recovery Worker

We are working with a national charity that supports clients with Mental Health issues. Their ethos is based on the belief that the clients in their care should live fulfilling lives within their local communities. Due to their ongoing needs they are now looking for a Recovery Worker in Winchester.
You will provide emotional and practical support to adult clients with mental health problems. You will be expected to assess their needs and work within the team to ensure the support plans are implemented and followed through. Majority of the role will be based around tenancy related support and accessing the community. As a Recovery Worker you will establish and maintain effective communication with your service user and help them reach their full potential.
Our client is looking for people who have previous experience and good communication skills, work well within the team but are also able to work with minimal supervision. Due to the nature of the role all applicants will go through a compliance procedure and DBS check prior to starting.
This is a great opportunity to work within an established and supportive team. Shifts offered vary, however they will be generally 7.5hrs long. This is a full time position offering 37.5 hrs per week for 3 months with a view of extension
