Overview

Overview Based at our Headquarters in Northern Ireland you will be responsible for operational quality activities to ensure that manufacturing process controls are adequate and robust and that they comply with the QMS. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will work within all areas of the business and be responsible for promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement while creating a data driven approach to problem solving. The role: Assuring the quality of products throughout the whole product lifecycle. Verification of compliance to specification/control plans of purchased production products and components. Lead Problem Solving activities andcreate Corrective Action Reports with containment, rootcause analysis with implementation and verification of corrections. Manage product and process changes to ensure full control and only approved parts get onto the production line. Create work instructions, boundary samples and failure catalogues. Active support of Incoming Inspection and Internal Quality. Setting the definition of Incoming inspection routines e.g. skip lots. Supporting Supplier Performance Evaluation, SCARs, and supplier visits. Assist Quality Manager in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system including conducting audits. Analyse quality data to determine trends and opportunities for improvement whilst driving continuous improvement programs. Essential Criteria Bachelors degree in electronical, mechanical or any other industrial engineering/technical field. Minimum 5 years related experience or training in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. High technical expertise and understanding. Strong communication and IT skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Desirable Criteria Capable to perform and build professional audits and reports. Working knowledge of core quality tools. Experience of management external quality concerns. Proven ability to work to defined timelines. Project Management experience. Experience of Lean/Six Sigma tools.
