Project Manager

We’re looking for a Civils Project Manager to join our Hinkley Point C team based in Bridgwater, Somerset. for this position you must have strong experience in Civil Engineering, Reinforced Concrete and Steel Structures.

 

Location: Somerset, Bridgwater

Contract: Permanent, Full time – can offer some hybrid working

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Project Manager you’ll be working within the Hinkley Point C team.  We are looking for you to bring your experience in construction projects that involve concrete frames to the team. You’ll need to make sure that the tasks are running on time, adhering to all HSE regulations and within budget.

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Managing the resources (people, finance and physical assets) in order to fulfil the assigned project(s) safely, on time and to the required quality, while maximising customers’ satisfaction and the gross profit.
  • The financial monitoring and supervision of the contract, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance in accordance with Kier’s Operating Framework, Project Lifecycle Management, and IMS.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Ensure the project is programmed in P6 to a level of detail necessary for operational teams to deliver the projects and that the programmes are contractually compliant.

 

Who are we looking for?

This role is great for you if:

  • Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree).
  • Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, APM or equivalent.
  • Significant experience on projects of significant value from pre-construction to delivery.
  • Able to establish requirements and drive the team to deliver the required outputs in terms of quality, cost and program.
