Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for a Project Accountant for an award-winning SME in the Skegness area. This is an exciting opportunity, offering mentorship and study support to progress your career. Responsible for overall Systems and Projects around accounting processes and MI. Improving the reporting, developing MI information i.e. JET reporting and Dynamics.

The role of theProjectAccountant

  • Responsible for the MI and reporting for the business
  • Continually improve the systems and process to achieve valuable MI
  • Liaise with Operations and SLT on a regular basis
  • Daily treasury reporting
  • Assist with management accounts and reporting
  • Create/authorise online bank payments
  • Entry of income journals onto the ERP accounting system
  • Liaising with card processing companies (compliance etc.)
  • Overall responsibility for ordering and managing of all company floats
  • Posting and analysing income
  • Submission of statutory returns
  • Responsibility for end of day procedures
  • Downloading income and expenses onto the system
  • Posting, recording and reconciliation of income
  • Ad hoc duties, as required

The ideal candidate for the role of Project Accountant

  • Have achieved or be in the final stages of an AAT qualification or part qualified ACCA/CIMA, or QBE
  • Have experience of Systems processes around Accounting MI
