Alexander Steele continue to partner with this unique Food Manufacturer exclusively to help support the recent changes in structure to facilitate the growth in Production. Due to this exciting period of growth our client needs to add Production Team Leaders to their Operation in Manchester.
We are looking for experienced food manufacturing Production Team Leaders with a minimum of 3-5 years supervisory/management experience to join this fast moving food manufacturing site.
The role will report into the Shift Operations Manager and you will work a shift rotation of days, backs & nights 5 days a week, 8hr shifts only. On average you will rotate every 2 weeks.
The salary on offer is up to £41k, plus pension, profit related bonus, holiday entitlement
As a Production Team Leader you will lead and support your area of responsibility to ensure that your designated area of the plant is operating in a safe, efficient and effective manner. This includes supporting the development of a continuous improvement culture to optimize labour, material, and equipment resources to achieve the plant objectives in Safety, Quality, Customer service, Cost, Sustainability, Employee Relations, and Engagement.
The candidate
- You must have a minimum of 3-5 years supervisory/management experience within Food Manufacturing, this is a must have.
- Understanding of KPI management
- Knowledge of driving & supporting C.I/Lean Manufacturing activities in Production
What’s on Offer
- Salary up to £41k
- Working 5 x 8hr shift p/w either on a 6am-2pm, 2pm -10pm or 10pm -6am, this will on average rotate every 2 weeks between days, backs & nights.
