Based in Whitchurch, Hampshire, UK in the design studio of 3fD.

Position Overview:

We are a bespoke design to manufacture service, each design has different challenges but all require energy and attention to make sure they are delivered with excellence.

The right candidate will really want to apply themselves, and be part of a our small but dynamic team; you will be energetic, bright and clever. You will love being in a fast pace environment and you will thrive in success.

You will not necessarily technically accomplished (although this is a positive), but inquisitive enough to want to understand the nature of the designs we are manufacturing and the function of the parts that make up the product.

You will be at the UK heart of our production operations in China, administrating the timely and efficient completion of production tasks. Based in the 3fD design studio, you will be working closely with our Team in China.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for driving operational excellence. Great communication skills are a must, demonstrating strong listening as well as verbal and written communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administrate our UK Design team and China Manufacturing team for tooling, sampling production, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth coordination of operations, ensuring completion according to the schedule and to the required standard.
  • Monitor progress of production activities and identify any potential delays or bottlenecks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for delivery of product to our customers, and to ensure our operations are in rhythm with our company policies and regulations (ISO 13485 and 21CFR820)
  • Manage inventory levels of components and finished goods to support production requirements.
  • Seek continuous process improvement with your passion for innovation, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce risk and advantage the end goal.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Product Design, or related field.
  • Previous experience in production administration or manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Gantt Charts
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a knack for getting things done
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of product design principles and their application in manufacturing processes is an advantage
